Chelsea are reportedly planning a dream team pairing of Didier Drogba and Fernando Torres next season. It is claimed that Carlo Ancelotti is prepared to table a £50million bid for the Liverpool striker if there are any hints from him that he's unsettled at Anfield. Mirror newspaper hack Martin Lipton writes: 'Chelsea's wish-list is headed by Liverpool superstar Torres, with the Blues ready to table a £50million bid if they see any signs the Spaniard wants to leave Anfield. 'Chelsea know that Manchester City, who can outbid the Stamford Bridge side, have also targeted Torres, especially after his recent admission that he would not automatically go back to Spain if he decides to quit Liverpool. 'Abramovich has already attempted to sign the former Atletico Madrid man before, in 2008 and again last summer, but with frustration at another Champions League failure growing, will sanction a full-out assault if Torres is available. 'Ancelotti also sees Torres as the man to land and believes he would be the perfect foil for Drogba.' Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona also continue to be linked with the Spanish international.
