Duncan Oldham : Guilty Suarez and Liverpool FC need to move on
05 January 2012

by Duncan Oldham, KopTalk editor

If you believe the latest reports, Luis Suarez is ready to walk away from Liverpool and English football as a result of the racism saga. Such claims, in my opinion, are untrue, but his future at Anfield remains far from secure. Both Barcelona and Real Madrid have been sniffing around the player and his representatives since the first half of the season and with Liverpool looking an outside bet for a Champions League place it is a no brainer that there will be serious interest in him once the season concludes.

Although I've touched on the Suarez situation in a video, for those of you who don't know my views, they are as follows.

I'm sick of hearing about it. Simple. Having read the full report, sad b*stard that I am, I was left feeling that the player was convicted more on a 'probability' that he did it. I didn't see any proof that's for the sure. The player himself though admitted using various words that could be considered offensive by others and that's where the problem lies.
