Liverpool have made an approach to Crystal Palace regarding the availability of Wilfried Zaha.

The 19-year-old striker has been scouted by the Reds ever since Kenny Dalglish was appointed manager.

Newcastle have made a formal approach for the player and that has prompted Dalglish to get on the blower to check on his availability.

Liverpool's director of football Damien Comolli is also holding talks with several clubs and agents regarding strikers. KOPTALK sources are claiming that he's in the market for 2, although 1 of them may have to wait until the summer.
