Mamadou Sakho says he wants to replicate the success he had at PSG with Liverpool.
The 23-year-old defender who was brought to Anfield in the summer by boss Brendan Rodgers is adamant that he's here to help the Reds win trophies and in particular, the Premier League.
"PSG will always be in my heart," said the £15million signing. "But when you're not part of someone's plans it's a simple choice. I left with my head held high.
"When I started out as a boy I wanted to be successful with PSG and it happened. I won the French Cup, the League Cup and the league.
"Winning the title was magnificent. Now I want to do the same with Liverpool. That's why I'm here."
Liverpool's managing director Ian Ayre deemed Sakho as our summer marquee signing but former Reds director of football Damien Comolli recently said he was confused by the signing because of the amount of money paid, which is ironic considering the deals he brokered while at Anfield.
