I've just returned from a trip to Liverpool to take in a match, deal with some business and oversee a few other things.

At the weekend I met up with my kids, Charlotte and Robbie, so that I could take them to the Spurs game. Although I live overseas these days, having succeeded in escaping the miserable English weather, I do get to see them every 6 weeks. Robbie was out here only a couple of weeks ago and he's back out here again at the end of the month, but any opportunity to meet up is never going to be turned down by myself, especially if it involves seeing the Reds play.

If you follow KOPTALK you'll know that I have recently become a little more positive about Pepe Reina. The Liverpool goalkeeper has suggested several times this year that he could leave the club in the summer because he wants to be winning major silverware. Nobody knows whether he'll jump ship in the summer or stay with us for at least another season because he's been very careful when responding to questions. But from what I've been hearing, things are a little more positive than they were.
