The title of this thread still stands. All the people willing us to lose so Kenny gets sacked (I know, some support eh?) - this is the game you will want to lose. Because if we win the FA cup, two out of three trophies will be seen as success to build on.
You know what I saw... let's beat the bitters and win the FA Cup!!!!!!!
YNWA - Kenny or otherwise!
This might be me being pedantic but I don't see it as 2 games to save his job, I see it as 2 games to be in contention for his job. If I was the owners and felt Kenny might be the right man after winning the fa cup (I wouldn't feel that but if I did), I'd say to him this season has not been a success as our main goal was top 4 (owners made that clear) and we've fallen far short, big money signings have also not performed.
I'd say two good cup runs don't make the season a success, they have given you a chance to keep your job, they've given you this meeting that you otherwise wouldn't have had. Now there is a few questions to answer:
1. What went wrong this season?
2. Why have your signings not performed?
3. What will be different next season?
If his answers aren't satisfactory to the point he gave me reason to believe next year would be significantly different or he has learnt from glaringly obvious mistakes, or his pride makes him feel that he shouldn't have to answer questions like this (because despite being a club legend, he has no right to feel above question after this season), then I'd call it a day on him.
