We'll be bringing in a goalscorer, don't look any further than someone like Defoe.

We'll be looking at a creative winger/attacking midfielder, don't look past, Moses, Zaha or Muniain

We'll be looking at a centre-back for cover (for Carra), don't look past Lugano or Godin.

We'll be looking for a left-back for cover for Enrique. Cheap.

We won't be getting anything more than what we don't need.

Kenny is aware of that and so are the owners.

£50m, plus whatever can be recouped from player sales. Aquilani for instance.

Defoe, Muniain and Lugano would be superb signings. All 3 of them are probably better off at their current clubs or have bigger ambitions than to play for LFC though. Besides, Defoe is probably the only one that dalglish has heard of!!

How much should we pay for Defoe? £50m sounds about right. Come on Kenny you always have had a eye for a bargain

Even now, I say we still need another £100mill (spent wisely) to improve the team enough to take us forward, forward meaning qualifying for the champions league every year and challenging at the top.

Either that, or players already at the club now improve significantly, and we sign the realistic players mentioned.

I gave those players because they are realistic, I think they're likely to happen. Regardless of what we want or think.

Out of arguably all of those players mentioned, Defoe, Moses, Zaha, Christian Rodriguez, Muniain, Lugano and Godin. With a push, I'd take one, maybe two.

Muniain is a gamble, a good player yes, but he is shining in a team where everyone plays for one another. Would he want to leave Basque? Atletico Bilbao players are different beasts, They are loyal to the club. They don't sign many players, they promote and coach from within.

Zaha would also be the other, even that is a risk. Arguably bigger. He'd come under the same pressure as the other players we've bought under the strategy to buy young British, as a result, he would be hit with the same stick.

Christian Rodriguez is likely to happen, simply because he is a left winger, Uruguayan and friends with Luis Suarez. It'll be one of those "for the sake of it"

We should be able to attract some decent players being in the europa league next season.

we should look at teams just below us or around us in the table.

Dembele

Segnesson

Shay Given etc

players will come to us because we win trophies

Haven't we already done that?

People aren't happy with the signings!

Dembele doesn't score enough for an attacking player, we need goals. Is he the answer?

"Segnesson" wink is decent and creative. 50/50

Why do we want to sign Shay Given? Unless you know something about Reina that we don't......

That's right, Aqua and Cole are probably gone next season.

The new owners did not spend 100 million. They have spent about half that at most. It's true to say that there is at least two years of bad business to be sorted out before moving forward. This transfer window should finish that off ( taking them 4 windows) and now it's all FSG signings. They have been clear from the off that they want players coming though and making marquee signings each season. This is the most important transfer window in about 3 years now, downing, Henderson, Carroll and Adam have made the squad stronger, along now with sterling, suso, Cody, coming in. It's time for some high quality signings. Maybe two this window
