Kop Prophet do you not feel you are in any way arrogant for suggesting that those who differ from your outlook are in some way mentally defcient? Yes I do get fed up at Anfield. For your information there was booing at the end of the west brom game as there was the previus game against villa. And at the west brom game all around me 10 minutes before the end was empty seats people had just gone home. Are these disloyal fans no they are paying punters who are cheesed off. Football is an entertainment and at 46 a go punters have a right to expect to see a reasonable quality. We sometimes forget but this ias Liverpool FC up until recently champions league winners and regular competitors. Most people I know who go to the game expect at least that. As long as I live I will never have your outlook which seems to be hope for the best and accept whatever comes up. You seem to have dug a whole for yourself with Dalglish most on this site either want him to go end of this season (myself) or at best be given another season. You would give him until the end of time because he is a legend madness.

Perhaps the saddest thing of all is that you continually misrepresent me. If the owners see fit to end Dalglish's tenure they have my full support. No one is happy with our league performance - not a soul on this site or elsewhere! What the so-called and mislabeled "kenny lovers" on this site are simply standing for is proper respect and etiquette in going forward. This includes treating some who helped make us a great club with the respect he has EARNED. That does not necessarily mean giving him cart blanche as the ongoing manager of this club. It also means giving him due credit for two cup finals in a season where we didn't get to compete in Europe, which doesn't cover over our deficiencies in the league. It means letting the man finish the season and being evaluated accordingly, without all the insults and slander and belittling of his achievements. It means acknowledging that the club does have positives to build on... instead of pumping the atmosphere with a continuous and toxic sludge of doom and gloom. The overexaggerations, self pity, and constant knee-jerking is so counterproductive and blinds our purpose. We have some good things in place and there is a lot right about the club after our dalliance with Texan disaster. I appreciate your opinions and can agree with a lot of what you say... but the manner of approach and the incessant negativity is like a disease on this board.

During the 'texan disaster' we finished 4th and 2nd. It could have been worse...

He made us a great club as a player of course. But as a manager its all opinions but I will never forgive him for the mess he left the club in 1991. To be fait it was not all down to Dalglish the club had back then and has had ever since poor board members who let the grass grow under our feet. None the less after he left in 1991 he should have been appreciated especially after Hillsborough but never should he have been allowed the manager's reigns again. I was astonished he was appointed even interim manager. We are in a mess now and no amount of postive words will do anything unless they are backed by the neccessary action. And that is not with Kenny but the owners it is they who must repair the damage of the past 30 years. No point in getting rid of Dalglish until they know what they are doing so in a sense you may have a point we might as well support him as there is nothing else to do. And so the club once again drifts and if you do support the club we should be letting the owners know we are not happy otherwise this is going to go on for years.

And it could be worse today... Dalglish could go six seasons without winning the league eh?

Would you rather... 4th and 2nd with no cups or 8th and 2 cups? Why, why not?

We all would.. that's not being debated. No need to malign a couple of good cup runs though. Remember - this is Dalglish's first full season as full-time manager... this is not an undue show of patience really. I think we are loading our Hicks and Grillet frustrations onto the current situation... as admittedly we did with Hodgson.

FSG aren't stupid. Why would they give a man another 4.5 years if the best he can manage with 115m and a supportive board is to drag us down from 6th to mid-table, scrapping for positions with fulham, west brom and norwich? I

no one is saying they will... just comparing disparate levels of patience to illustrate a point.
