i think these big money moves for these young players just puts way too much pressure on them. i think he could be great but agree that he just needs to step up and do what he needs to do. watching him play is really frustrating for me. i hate watching him (to be honest, not just henderson but most of our midfield) constantly passing side to side or playing it back. if he (and the rest of the midfield) just stops worrying about making mistakes, the mistakes will stop happening. period.

I don't understand the minutes he gets either, apart from a few league games right at the start of the season, he has done nothing. Shelvey should be ahead of him while he is not on loan.

henderson would benefit from a team that moves the ball from end to end faster, hes no good with the ball at his feet (although i wouldnt say he is a bad striker of a dead ball) . Good player but unless we turn into a sunderland type lumping ball forward and pressuring defenders he might as well not be in team
