I think this is the only football game I had on the SNES. It was pretty deadly, to be fair!

I always played the Master League in PES, and I think that career mode in FIFA just pales in comparison to it.

Mate you are exactly like me, one of the reasons I dislike Fifa is that you will not feel a difference controlling Messi or Jarvis, its stupid, In PES, you can tell if a player you control is far superior to the opponent. The second and most important reason is the Master League, I purchase the game just to play this mode in PES. Its miles ahead of fifa in that aspect of the game.

Yeah exactly. There's very little payback in signing the top players in FIFA because they don't feel a whole lot better than the lesser players. One of my favourite things in the Master League is signing young players and being able to see their expected development charts. There's very little point in signing young players in FIFA because their progress is very slow and in some cases they'll never come good.

have preferred pes over fifa for years. find pes much more challenging and its true each player has a different feel. for example downing struggles to get past a player, maxi comes on a grabs a goal and i also have Sterling tearing full backs apart.

the proper kits thing doesn't bother me as i just download an option file and i actually prefer the graphics of pes.

all i have enjoyed about fifa recently is transfer deadline day. if pes had that i'd be in my element.

All footy games are rubber banded and scripted today.

They drive me up the f*ckin wall. Seriously.

No footy game has beat PES 5 and 6, 6 f*ckin years ago! Yeh, graphics will improve overtime, but the gameplay has just gotten worse, year after year after year.

Much prefer racing games today, never used to, but at least they are 50/50, down the line and not scripted to f*ck.

F1 2011 is where its at.

Craney I kinda agree with you on PES 5-6. They were more user-friendly with the controls. They have added many many extra features now as the years gone by and you will have to learn it all over again.

Since I got a PS2 had all the pes games right upto pes 2010, then after that started to feel Pes was guinely being left behind and got Fifa 11 and havent looked back although Pes are closing the gap again Fifa is still the best game. Have to admit Pes still has the individual feel of the players over fifa although over the last 2 fifas they've started to alter the game to individual styles of play.

Lastly all the years of pes gameplay made me instantly the best player at fifa with all my mates despite rarely playing it to begin with and now like when I used to be on pes I'm now one of the top players on Fifa online too.

Anyone want a game on fifa ps3 my PSN is gaming_desh

Both the xbox 360 and ps3 have reached their maximum potential, until a new console arrives, there can only be tweeks made, graphics, gameplay e.t.c aren't going to change much.
