Just wondering why the hell he took Torres over valencia's Soldado for the final euro squad. A very poor decision IMO.

Torres just won CL. Could it be that simple?

Torres's all round play has been really good since Christmas and he has also started scoring.

Unfortunately Chelsea do not know how to play him and that's why he has struggled, a little like Carroll at Liverpool.

I'm sure if Torres was at Liverpool this season he would have been up there with Van Persie & Rooney on 20+ goals.

I dOnt think ur right torres doesn't look the same player at all hes still very poor weather that is due to the way chelski play him or confidance and body language. He will never again be the player we knew he also looks very unhappy, both cups win had nothing to do with him, even chelski fans would agree with me. I am absouletly baffled as to how he made that spain squad soldado should have def been picked over him imo.

Experience in big tournaments probably, particularly with villa not being there. Been there , done that. His understanding with Mata will also have been a consideration perhaps.

i dont get it, with david villa out why cant they make space for saldado. i think he it based off the most recent match, saldado didnt perform well in it. i would take saldado over ngredo though.
i think takeing torres is the smartest choice, its his time to step up as a striker and lead the squad.
