i think there is something exciting about raheem sterling and brendan rodgers given the way he played scott sinclair at swansea.

sinclair played as a right footed left winger cutting in on the inside which proved to be very effective. (similar to ashley young)

raheem sterling is right footed and has been playing on the left in our academy since he arrived.

i think he warrants a chance in the europa league and depending on how well he performs when he comes in will determine how much game time the young lad gets.

i hope he takes his chances and breaks into the first team though. i'm sure a lad even of his young age could have finished the season with a better record than stewart downing had he been given the chance.

if he lives up to his potential he'll be an england regular too

Anything over 100 minutes for Raheem & Suso in Europa league will help them & us a lot.. It will help a lot for the club to attract more young talents.

Be interesting to see how this pans out - hear his Mom's fed up with us and wants him to move south..

He's looked good in the few minutes he's had, proper lively and quick - if he's good enough, he's old enough..
