I don't get it. Please help me understand what are the real worries of the local supporters.

Are the population diminishing in Liverpool? There are just not enough new borns who lets Liverpool pick them as fans instead of the other way around?

Are there more examples how local supporters are being treated badly?

Nonsense, have you questioned every fan in the Kop to support that theory. Whether you are from Liverpool, Ireland, Scandanavia or Asia we are all drawn to the club in different ways.

Liverpool is a world wide brand whether you like it or not and the sooner you stumble into the 21st century the sooner you will realise that.

You claim to be a season ticket holder yet you relentlessly condemn players, managers, fans and owners of the club. I have never read a positive post from you on this site. just an example just for the thread , say the club come out with a new policy to get more corporate into the ground they will not sell tickets to thomas cook or sell ticket to supporters clubs in other places outside of the local catchment area and season ticket waiting list is getting scrapped just to get more people into the lounges and more corporate pounds spent, what would be the call then ?

No work, petrol (gas to you) going up, energy costs did I say no work? Season tickets about $1200 plus your FA cup etc add another $1000. Oh and its pretty violent around Anfield area, very depressed part of the world in more ways than one. Apart from that we have no worries at all.

Well if you think all Liverpool supporters are the same then I am wasting my time, I am not saying one is better than another just that there are differences, a local fan will always look on the Club differently from somebody who chose to support the Club for whatever reason, its just the way it is. I can totaly understand the feelings of that poor woman, she feels she's been very poorly treated after the service her and her family have given the Club through good times and bad especialy when the Club was struggling and was'nt the global brand it is now, it's times like that the Club should be rewarding it's loyal fans not trying to pull a fast one over them by giving there seats out to people with more money which is basicaly what they are doing.

Liverpool is a very depressed area relative to the rest of the country not all of course there are areas like liverpool also but generally it has lower per capita than the rest of the country. Have you ever been to Anfield ? the area I mean ?

Not saying its the clubs fault but its a fact of life for the people who live here. Liverpool are £800 Everton £500 not far from half the cost of liverpool. Which is why so many have a beef.

You are still basically talking about this case. She has been offered seats, not being kicked out of Anfield like some of you make it sound like.

If you argue she is offered much worse seats than her original ones, that I can understand. But that is not the case here.

I agree in part Rafa but if a club like Liverpool has few or no local fans then in my view its in trouble this is not america where they move teams accross the country its won't work here in my view. The club cannot and must not forget its local base or neglect any other fan either but local (merseyside) is important.
