We won the group, didn't play too well, but it was a poor group and then we're straight into the QF. Very poor tournament you have to say. Roy's not a top coach but I thought the togetherness would see us do well. End of the day, look at the team he had to choose from. Young, Welbeck, Milner, Rooney were awful. We'll never win a tournament without addressing the issues. When Germany hit a low level 10-12 years ago, they devised a long-term plan to develop better younger players and it's paying dividends.
