I have a sneaking suspicion that we may not sign any new players in the summer.

We are being linked with all and sundry but we have a good squad and some very good youth players.

Buck is well known for getting the best out of young players so I would be very happy happy to see the likes of Suso, Morgan, Sterling, Coady, Wisdom promoted to the first team squad.

would have the potential to do very well next year and would play the tika taka style which Buck enjoys.

Thoughts?

Im hopefull we will see some of our younger guys like sterling suso etc get some chances especially in europa league carling cup etc. I cant agree with the no signing thing im almost certain will bring a player or two

I think we'll get 2-3 new faces in but even with what we have now we should be looking at a two or three place improvement on last year.

I'll be fine if we don't make any signings. I think we have a smart manager who will know how to use our youth players properly. We also have a team while getting 8th place last season had the 3rd best defense in the league, some of the most shots and crosses, and (the most) 33 shots off the woodwork. We have a team that's not finishing their chances, i think Brendan will not only improve on the chances we had last year, but also vastly improve our finishing.

We have some positives from last season as pointed out above and if we can add a but more depth to the squad with a couple of wide players and a finisher then we will jump between 3-4 places I would think.

If we don't sign anyone then I would suggest we may only go up the table by 2 spots but at least we will improve. Our finishing was what let us down last season and not the way we played.

transfer window doesnt shut until the 31st of august so why the big panic ?

Liverpool is doing it behind closed doors and close to the chest, like Buck said we would. All these antsy fans need to calm their titts.
