Haven't read any of the replied yet, but as soon as I read the title I thought of one person.

Michael Owen.

DONT DO THAT!

I'm prepared to bet my house that you are the first person to label mark lawrenson as 'hilarious'!

You just lost your house because I've thought Mark Lawrenson was hilarious for years!

Exactly. Still, I can see most will vote him BBC sports personality of the year for that, and I'll laugh at them because they're all goldfish memoried softies, who wouldn't know what a personality is, because they don't have one themselves.

Sports personality for what? For crying?

The worlds gone mad! He'll get it to! You just know it!

If he'd have won the thing, you could bet that he would have been made a Sir or a Lord.

Lord Andy Murray!

I feel dirty now. sick

Andy Murray just in the wrong era, do you know how hard it is to win a grand slam with the likes on Djocovic, Nadal and Federer to contest against? Since Federer's first grand slam win, only 4 players other than Nadal, Federer and Djocovic has won a grand slam, and since 2003 its only been those three that have won Wimbledon, Murray has done well to get himself into 4 grand slam finals, including Wimbledon, its far better than any British players have done over the past 70 years. So give the guy some credit, and yes for fcks sake he is human like everyone else, and cries like everybody else.

not you, I understand where your coming at. I don't understand why people are criticising him because he cried?

Well the english have enough of a reputation of being cry babies (after gazza 1990 hard to get rid of tag) And i think beckham (who was in the crowd) the plank probably shed a few when he was sent off. I didn't mind him crying at all but he is a bit insular for a lot of people, having not been able to acknowlege federer's performance preferring to blubber cos he lost. At least he is honest i guess you can see he is a bad loser, but best chance we have of winning anythhing
