I bet the Southampton, Reading or Wigan forums have'nt got a John Terry topic 6 or 7 pages long on it, like I say it's unhealthy having such a bitter undercurrent, jelousy about other Clubs like some seem to have about worrying about John Terry and Chelsea, forget it whose actualy bothered as it does'nt effect us that verdict.

Doesn't mean they aren't interested. We've got more to say on the matter, stop making up crap again and again and again and again and again! Have you thought for one second that maybe its not about John Terry but more about inconsistency witching the football world. Since Liverpool can directly relate to the topic, then yes, supporters will like to discuss it. You know, like you like to discuss how people from Liverpool have more ties with the club, while others disagree.

I hear what you're saying but I think you're wrong. This isn't about jealousy about another club. There's various reasons for being interested in this:

1. Our club and one of our players was affected by a similar situation. It's interesting to try and understand what the similarities/differences are in both cases, how they were dealt with, what the outcome was etc.

2. The issue of racism is being given a high profile in football generally as well with the respect campaign, the kick it out campaign, what happens in other countries, what happened at the Euros. So the JT incident is interesting in that context too.

As for other clubs, they weren't affected by this issue like we were so may not be as interested.

that's not quite correct I believe. The Terry used racist language was not disputed.

The debate was whether he used it as part of an insult. Terry claimed something like that he was simply repeating words that he thought Ferdinand had accused him of using. That's the bit that was inconclusive. It couldn't be proved beyond doubt that Terry use those words as part of a statement that was intended to abuse Ferdinand, hence the not guilty verdict.

suarez was found guilty of using racist and abusive words on a football pitch , john terry was in court for a criminal case and the court decided there wasnt enough evidence to convict him in a criminal court , now he can be found guilty of using racist and abusive language on a football pitch that is a completely different issue .

surely if terry was innocent then ferdinand was guilty and as for rio ferdinand how can he call cole a choc ice and sod all is said or do you have to be white to be racist ?
