incorrect he is on that kind of money. For all the exagerations on here about the signings. None of the new guys are on massive wages. Yes the fees have been high but the wages low. The echo reported this as as many other papers - the theory being that the player becomes the value but his wages are significantly lower, players can be sold with little pay off at high fees.

carroll 35 mil + 40k/week for 5yrs = 45.4mil package
Aguero 35mil + 200k/week for 5yrs = 87mil package

the difference is massive and when you judge players values Liverpool in comparison have not over spent as many would have led you to believe. If we pay over now to get who we want but maintain modest wages we will be judged on FFP on our turnover/wages not our transfer fee as it will not count then.

the argument is whether Carroll or Henderson will turn out to be 35mil or 16mil players in two years time(mid contract).
