I think thats a sensible position by Henry he knows now what a job is on our hands. But I feel there is kidology too make no mistake there will be pressure to get in the champions league this season the business model demands it.

Agree it's sensible. Not sure whether it should've been made public. On the other hand, it'll take the pressure off and may yet prove to be a masterstroke.

Carexx I think John Henry is much more savvy in the premier league than when he first took over which was also very hands off. He knows what he is doing now I feel and he is also more hands on. We are told what an expert he is on sports franchises well as far as I am concerned the clock starts now.

I personaly think its a bit daft for people to talk about Liverpool and Champions League football, there is as much chance as it happening over the next five seasons as winning the League, zero chance. I think John Henry has finaly come to his senses and realised that when he bought the Club he thought we were a Club capable of being moulded into a Champions League Club, since he has been here he now knows thats simply not possible as he has'nt got the money to compete with the Big Clubs so has revised his targets, lets face it he cant even get the stadium issue right. I think Brendan Rogers was brought in because he can work with a limited budget and can get the best out of good to average players, I will be happy with top 6 finishes and a few F.A.Cups and League Cups thrown in if he can maintain that along with exciting football to watch I will be more than pleased.

I agree, it's laughable. We're a million miles away from 4th spot. I would say a mathematical impossibility. We have average players, owers without a clue, an inexperienced manager, gerrard's too old, Suarez is a racist and needs to go & we're the 8th best team in the league.
