It Carragher and Skrtel are our centre backs this season then I think we have a problem!

Skrtel for some reason is a liability next to Carra and formed a good partnership with Agger last year so why is that being broken up...

Yeah thats exactly how i see it too & its been g oing on for 2 years at least when these 2 are together? i suspect that skyrtl gets the blame too for some of carra's mistakes but can't be sure of that

Skrtel doesn't help himself at times though, making rudimentary errors when he's the last man. But certainly the Carra-Skrtel partnership has been a liability for more than a season. Coates is a bit raw, but hopefully he'll be able to make something of Rodgers' system, because I really get nervous when Carra starts instead of Agger...

rodgers has came out and said he left him out to protect him because hes not had as much training as some of others and cause of his history of injurys and nothing to do with an iminent transfer
