Every player has their price...........except for Luis Suarez who he has waxed lyrical about since joining the club. Yet when questioned about other players, he's not so supportive.
One footballer is not bigger than the football club, but it seems as if they are making Suarez to be just that now.
It will all end in tears, mark my words, the sh*t will hit the fan, the contract means nothing, Suarez will become disillusioned at the club with all the abuse he gets from the terraces and it will be another "van Persie/Rooney" "The club has no direction" We're not winning" We're not signing the best players" etc etc etc
....and just like our dear old Fernando, Suarez will be of, I really don't see why Rodgers is so up Suarez's arse, there ARE other players at the club to you know.....that arguably need more support and man management!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes it doesn't take a genius to work out Suarez will go in a season or two if Liverpool don't pick up and sign better players. Because better clubs will be in for him. That's what happens. Even when we were top 4 we lost players to top european teams. Also the way he is treated in this country (some think rightly some think wrongly) will make his decision leave easier. He needs to prove himself another season then I think a few clubs will be in for him when they have a bit more cash as barca etc spent too much last year. It's obviously gonna happen.
But he is our best player currently. I wouldn't wanna lose him. Who are we gonna replace him with? Another borini? No thanks. I'll keep one of the most exciting players in the league to watch.
