Relax these things happen in football especially begining of the season. You normally find the poor teams overachieve early on then as the season goes on it flattens out.

My opinion is that it was very much like last season with create countless chances to score but never put the ball in the net. This is what costs us many valuable points in the table.

Soon as we start taking our chances then we will start progressing.

It is getting beyond a joke how much we are paying our strikers yet they can't put the ball into the back of a massive net.

If anyone actually believes "everything will be fine", I think you're massively mistaken. This is a poignant sign of things to come.

Nobody with any sense is saying everything will be fine we have a massive job on our hands. Thats why after one game a bit of backing would be helpful.

Stanley, do you REALLY think anyone would back someone wholeheartedly after that disgrceful performance? They need to understand that they're playing for LFC and the performance was nowhere near the standard of what we expect. You say you watched for 45 years right? WHat would Shankly have done after that? He would hold no punches and lambast each player individually in the media and we would all say "fantastic", so why any different here on the forums?

No, what is sad is certain fans calling for Van Gaal to be appointed new Liverpool manager yesterday evening.

I think you'll find that the fan is question simply suggested van Gaal would've been a more suitable appointment considering his experience and standing in the game.

ok fine but first defeat OUT because that the way it is now , so liverpool likely to have 9 or 10 managers a season from now on according to some .

Suarez I watched Liverpool in the late 60's with my dad. I can assure you there were some dreadful performances under Shankly. I remember coming out of the scary (and dangerous) steps at the back of the old kop my legs working like little pistons trying to stay upright. I remember the big scouse men talking in funny accents above my head moaning like the clappers how this or that should be done. Nothing is new mate believe me. I like Rodgers I have a good feeling about him but it will take a long time.
