it should never of got that far tonite if we had paid Hearts and the competition and full respect it deserved in the first leg.

Now I am no expert on the rules but I'm reasonably certain that every game has to go that far.

I think it's called playing the full 90 minutes and referee's are obliged to ensure that every game goes that far.

all in all we played pretty sh!t. suarez looked tired from the start his touch was awful, but he got the goal when we needed it. reina shocked no words. shelvey, gerrard and allen look like they're building up a nice understanding. hendo did well from the left, downing did good at LB. morgan was ermmm -i dont wanna be too harsh, first start and all- pooh, was out of position though. sterling looked dangerous again. we're through so it's all good.

Morgan was a nervous wreck, tried hard though, anyone notice that he looks like a baby T-Rex when running.

Same old problems, Reina and dissapointed with Suarez as much as he won us the tie I think even a pub player could of had a hatrick tonight. Very worried because if we don't bring in fresh faces up front, we're fked.

stanley, you just dont get it do you, Dalglish was an established top goalscorer before he played with Rushie so it was never in question. You mention Peter Beardsley, I happen to like Peter Beardsley but I am not daft enough not to know he was very, very lucky throughout his career to of been bailed out by strike partners, Kevin Keegan at the begining, John Aldrige then Ian Rush and then in the twilight of his career back at Newcastle Andy Cole he even had Gary Liniker bailing him out when he played for England. The lucky thing for Peter Beardsley was he always played in succesful teams Newcastle he won promotion, Liverpool he won leagues and England he was part of the most succesful era under Bobby Robson semi finalist and Quarters in the world cup, the golden team, when your in tha position your weaknesses are never highlighted. In his last season at Liverpool Rushie was on his way down, Barnes was crocked too so Beardsleys inability to score goals was highlighted more he was then flogged to Everton and replaced with Dean Saunders. This is the point I make about forwards who dont score goals Teddy Sheringham was bailed out by Sherarer at International level and Cole and Yorke at United when United were winning everything in sight Sherringham and his lack of goals were not important even though he scored some important ones. Suarez plays up front in a a very average Liverpool team it's his job as a 20 odd million pound forward to score the goals, he has played centraly in all the games and still cant finish his tea never mind a chance. Hope this clears things up Stanley.

If ever you needed proof he's just winding you lot up...

By this logic, you could say Bergkamp was lucky to be bailed out by Ian Wright's goals, or Silva's crap but lucky to be bailed out because Toure breaks up all the play in midfield.

I actually think Shearer was crap, he was just bailed out by Sheringham's hold up play and assists.
If Arsenal never won the league due to Ian Wright and his goals then the finger would of certainly been pointed at Bergkamp for not scoring enough goals. Its the way of football Emile Haskey was blamed because Michael Owens goals were'nt enough to secure a League, Chris Sutton when Alan Shearers Goals stopped winning Blackburn the League, Fernando Torres last season when Drogba goals stopped winning Chelsea the League and even Berbatov when Rooney's goals stopped United winning the League when they were pipped by Chelsea, it's alrite carrying forwards when they dont score enough goals if you are successful and I am afraid Liverpool are not succesful so the forwards will always get the blame if we dont score enough goals, Luis Suarez is a 20 odd million pound striker for Uraguay and Liverpool and only scored 11 goals last season how on this earth is that good enough for us if people want 4th place.
