What makes you think that Assaidi is a starting 11 player? I hadn't heared about him until he was bought so not sure what he is supposed to bring to the team. Maybe he is one for the future, the manager is better placed to see if he can contribute or not. Did you know about him before he came, if yes, how good is he according to you?

Assaidi is suffering from a groin injury. Aside from that, he scored 11 goals in 19 games in the Eeresdivision last year. He might not be a premier league starter, but there's a good chance he could contribute in a meaningful manner when healthy.

Well if you haven't heard of him then he shouldn't play yet wink

I had never heard of him, but I had heard of 2 of his team mates in Bas Dost and Luciano Narsingh, and Assaidi was Supposedly as good, which is exciting because Narsingh looks a very good player. Maybe, Rodgers is just giving him time to settle.

Pops, that was not the point of my post, ie, if I haven't heard about him he shouldn't play.

I genuinely don't know how good he is, I was just asking if somebody had seen him playing and if he was good enough to start + think that the manager should know better. All players look good on You Tube
