Not sure I agree with this after Liverpool being the capital of culture a few years back.


The "Capital of culture" award is a sympathy hand out - handed out to Ryan air & easy jet destinations.

Yeah they did clean the place up pretty well, 100% on what it was 15 years ago. I would just take the Capital of culture award with a pinch of salt though - the cash injection was certainly much needed.

Fair enough, I definitely wouldn't say that Manchester is a more appealing city than Liverpool though, and I know them both well.
