Is Joe Cole's return a possible reason why we aren't apparently serious about Gylfi? The last I heard was that JC wanted to stay at Lille and they wanted to make his move permanent. Now he's been recalled is it safe to assume that he's part of Brendan's plans?

i thought that myself especially after i watched an interview with rodgers on the lfc sight and he said himself

"Joe is obviously a player who'll want to come back and show his worth to the group,"

made me think he will be given another chance and you couldnt blame him for at least looking at joe considering he worked with him before at chelsea
and if he is to be used instead of going in for sigurdsson he might be thinking the money that we would save might be better used on another position

I say try them both. What do we have to lose? Give them a shot, and if they aren't working by say December, then give up and get rid of them. That frees up money for a striker and a classy winger.

Cole might get a chance to play in the middle perhaps.... still think Aquilani will force a way out. Why does he hate the club so much... was he hazed in the showers or summat?

i haven't seen aquilani do anything to suggest he hates the club. regardless, i hope they make a decision on him. i can't take this loaning out business anymore.
