Fair chance of Top4??? not a hope. Utd & City are definite's for top4, leaving 2 spots up for grabs. Chelsea have just spent a fortune and will no doubt take one of the spots, leaving one place to go for. What have we done (apart from sack dalglish) to suggest we will suddenly be better than newcastle, spurs, everton and arsenal, and make up a huge 17 point gap which is what we missed top4 by last season?
That kind of points deficit requires one of 2 things: massive financial investment, or plenty of time.
You base your predictions on last season... football seasons don't repeat themselves mate.... you have to allow for surprises. There's no reason why we can't compete with all the teams you mention.
